Matt and I hit up the Gunpowder today fishing the section 
from Falls Rd up to the damn. It was a day of firsts....our first smallmouth and brook trout from the GP. Pretty cool stuff...who know where they came from. The brookie led to my first ever grand slam!!! Matt pulled a bronzeback out of the plunge pool after letting the fish snag him up. Matty wasn't going to have it and dove in the water after him and was reward for his effor
ts. I also got hooked up with a couple of browns with a sinking leader that had a copper John at the end of it. However, the highlight of the day was when Matt hooked up with a huge sunfish. After a long fight he landed the pig and set it aside for the nights dinner. After a day of fishing we headed back up to the car only to find a couple of blonds suiting up!!! This was even more of a surprise than what we found at the end of our lines today, and got us much more excited.
Maybe we will see them again, the GP is a popular stream.....
